We organise upper secondary vocational education for young people and adults, making an important contribution to economic life and vocational competence in the Kainuu region. We operate on a nationwide basis and are active in international projects.
Exercise in Vuokatti
Vuokatti is a marvellous location for skiing, snowboarding, camping, fishing, hiking, roller skiing… the choice is yours! An indoor swimming pool, a ski tunnel and the Vuokatti Sports Institute with its multitude of exercising opportunities are located right next to the Kainuu Vocational College premises. The city of Kajaani is only a half-hour bus ride away.
Kainuu Vocational College’s premises in Vuokatti provide study for becoming a professional in the field of tourism. The college site is in the Snowpolis technology park, at the heart of the Vuokatti tourist region. Snowpolis operates in conjunction with Sokos Hotel Vuokatti, and the Vuokatti ski slopes lie within walking distance.
One of the busiest tourist resorts in Finland, Vuokatti provides an excellent environment for studying. Vuokatinvaara student homes offer free accommodation for Kainuu Vocational College students.
